Rides for All Ages
We offer a wide range of train ride experiences throughout the year. Some of our rides are offered regularly, such as our Sunday Brunch ride (tickets range from $40 to $55 each). Other rides are geared for kids, such as our Lunch Box ride (tickets range from $15 to $33 each). Tickets for our special occasion train rides, like those for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and other holidays, typically range from $25 to $74. Pricing varies slightly depending on the length of the ride and the amenities offered onboard.
Special Discounts
At Santiam Excursion Trains, we want to make our train ride experiences accessible to everyone, which is why we honor our seniors and military members with discounted tickets. Some rides are completely free to active military members and veterans, and other rides start at only $15 with valid military ID. Our 65+ guests can enjoy discounted pricing on all of our rides, and toddlers small enough to sit on your lap always ride free! Children’s train ride tickets are available for kids ages 4 to 16, and typically range from $23 to $45 each.
Train Rentals
For your parties, corporate events, and other gatherings, you can rent our entire train! Weekday rentals start at $2,500 and weekend rentals at $3,000. You can also reserve the entire caboose for any of our regular train rides for only $250! There are plenty of add-ons available for any train rental package, including snacks, drinks, and catering, starting at $7 per person. Wine, beer, and family reunion packages are $85, liquor packages are $150, and birthday party packages are $60. We also offer semi-hosted bar options starting at $18 per person.
